As a network security professional, you'll perform network risk assessments, implement safeguards to protect data and system integrity, implement and maintain system authentication systems and create perimeter protection systems. Upon successful completion of this program, you can take the CompTIA Security+ certification exams.

The network security certificate is a three-semester open-enrollment program, meaning there isn't any criteria students must meet to be admitted.
