Sandburg tutoring is a free resource for you to take charge of your studies. We offer friendly, accessible academic assistance in all subject areas in person at the Galesburg campus and via virtual options for the Carthage campus.

Visit B72 in the Student Center on the Galesburg campus Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for help with all your core classes, from math and science to writing, Spanish and general-study skills. Tutoring is available primarily on a walk-in basis, but you can call ahead to schedule an appointment.
You’re in charge of the tutoring sessions, which are casual student-initiated, student-centered and student-driven interactions. You'll get the most out of tutoring services when you come well before an assignment is due and you're prepared to work.
Feel free to stop by for clarification, extra practice, brainstorming and planning or guidance on your homework. Keep in mind that tutoring isn’t a homework correction service; it’s an educational opportunity for additional instruction that allows you to take charge of your studies with more confidence.

Online tutoring
You can also access free, one-on-one, real-time online tutoring any time with Brainfuse via your computer, tablet or smartphone. Brainfuse records your documents and tutoring sessions; so they're easily accessible as study notes later. Best of all, it’s a tutoring service that works with your schedule — even if that means you’re getting tutored at 3 a.m.! Brainfuse also offers skill-building exercises, video tutorials, practice tests and much more.
