Named after the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet and Lincoln biographer Carl Sandburg, the college embodies his spirit of lifelong learning and connection to the heartland.

From humble beginnings to a thriving educational hub, Sandburg has evolved to meet the changing needs of our students and community. Throughout the decades, we've continuously updated our programs and facilities to stay at the forefront of education and workforce training, including our most recent expansion, the Science & Technology Center.
