The resource room and food pantry (room B003) on the Galesburg campus is free for all Sandburg students and employees. Students and employees can stop by anytime they're faced with food insecurity, whether it be just a grab-and-go item for the day or several items to take home for meals.

Monday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Fridays, by appointment only
Every third Wednesday of the month, Sandburg receives a food delivery from River Bend Food Bank, consisting of fresh produce, freezer and refrigerator items, and a wide variety of shelf items. The resource room offers special hours on those third Wednesday delivery days of 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Ways to give back!
Donations are always welcome to help sustain our shelves between monthly food deliveries. Accepted items include, but aren't limited to, grab-and-go foods, snacks, canned goods, cereal, pasta, bottled/canned beverages, other non-perishable foods, toiletries, baby necessities and school supplies. All donated items should be unopened and within the posted expiration date. Donations can be dropped off with the coordinator of student life, in office B56.
